Rescue Information - Turkey
Since 1998 Monkey World has been working in cooperation with the Turkish Government to stop the smuggling of chimpanzees from the wild for the entertainment and pet trade.
While some confiscations have been made, the undercover work continues to locate more of the refugees of this barbaric trade.
Pictured are only some of the baby chimpanzees Monkey World has found in Turkey.
We know there are many more in Istanbul, Ankara, Bodrum, and Marmaris.
