Monkey World assists governments around the world to stop the smuggling of primates from the wild.
At the Centre refugees of this illegal trade as well as those that have suffered abuse or neglect are rehabilitated into natural living groups.

Monkey World is open every day except Christmas Day, from 10am to 5pm.
During July and August, opening times extend from 10am to 6pm.
Last admission is 1 hour before closing.
Please note that the Malagasy Lemur Enclosure is currently open daily from 12pm to 3pm and the Lemurs & Small Monkeys keeper talk is held at 2.30pm.
Please also note that the siamang gibbon enclosure is currently closed until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
