Halloween Fun at Monkey World!

Free Entry on October 31st 2012 for Full Halloween Fancy Dress

at Monkey World!

Bring your little terrors to Monkey World this half term for a week packed full of Halloween fun and activities!

From Saturday 27th October to Sunday 4th November 2012 the whole family can enjoy Monkey World’s exciting Halloween Trail taking you through the park with spooky clues to spot round the enclosures whilst watching the stars of TV’s ‘Monkey Life’.  Each child will receive a special sticker for taking part and will enter a prize draw to win an adoption of their favourite primate, which includes free entry to the park for a whole year!

On Wednesday 31st October Monkey World are offering FREE ENTRY for both adults and children who are in full Halloween fancy dress costume. There will be a competition for the best adult and child costumes, judged by Animal Director Jeremy Keeling and Education Officer Mike Colbourne at 3pm (meeting at the Watering Hole Cafe) with prizes for the winners, so the spookier the better!

But why should humans have all the fun? Visitors of all ages will have the opportunity to take part in enrichment bottle making for the primates throughout the whole of the half term week from 11am to 3pm in the Watering Hole café at the park. We would be grateful if you could bring your own plastic bottles for this activity, they need to be washed and cleaned along with the bottle top. Each day the bottles will be given to the chimpanzees and you can see them get their tasty treats!

As well as joining in the Halloween fun there is something for everyone to enjoy at Monkey World. Listen to the fascinating daily keepers talks, pre-book a guided tour, monkey around in the Great Ape Play Area and even adopt a primate yourself. Home to over 250 rescued and endangered primates, enjoy a fang-tastic day out for all the family this half term.
