Guided Tours & Talks

Monkey World offers personal talks and guided tours of the park by our Education Officers.

Monkey World's highly popular guided tours take visitors on a 1 hour 15 minute walking tour through our 65 acre park. One of the Education Team will guide you on your journey, detailing the history of the park and our mission to end the illegal smuggling of primates from the wild. Throughout the tour your guide will tell you the stories behind our primates' rescues, explaining their transition from cruelty and abuse to their rehabilitation into appropriate social groups and large, natural enclosures.

Our tours are a fantastic way to gain a better insight into Monkey World’s work and to enhance your experience of the park; perfect for fans of Monkey Business and Monkey Life! Tours are very popular and often booked up quickly. To avoid disappointment tours should be booked in advance through our Admin Office on 01929 401003. Gift Vouchers are also available. Testimonials

We very much welcome all customer feedback and the following are just a few recent letters and emails that we have received from our kind supporters:

September 2016

We had a tour at 2.30pm with a wonderful lady with shoulder length blonde hair. [Jen]. She was fantastic!!! Nothing was too much for her, she catered perfectly to my mother's disabilities and kept us all so engaged. She really did go above and beyond with her tour. She was also very patient, my mum had to keep getting in and out of her wheelchair and I am sure our tour ran over but the guide did not mind at all. She also pointed out things she knew my mother would enjoy and spent extra time showing us Thelma as she knew it was mum's favourite. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart, keep up the fantastic work!!!

August 2016

Thanks to Jenny who gave us a wonderful tour of Monkey World on August 21st. Some of our group (myself included) have watched 'Monkey Life' so knew a lot of history of the park and the primates there but still Jenny managed to provide us with new information and the members of our group who have never watched 'Monkey Life' or visited the park before came away feeling like they knew as much as we did! Jenny was lovely and so knowledgable. Thanks goes to Mike and the rest of the educational team, too who had slipped a birthday card in to the pack mum was presented with at the end of the tour.

December 2015

We had our Guided Tour yesterday, it was fantastic. It was an honour to see close up, what a fabulous job you all do at Monkey World. It's amazing the way these primates are given such a natural environment to live. Thank you so much for your help, and Bob was a great guide
